L’Apéro Scientifique, a discussion about science and society

The Alliance Française Dublin and the Embassy of France in Ireland are happy to introduce a new recurring event: the "Apéro Scientifique", a series of discussions in French on science and society!

Open to all, teenagers and adults, the Apéro Scientifique is all about encouraging public discussions on topical subjects linked to sciences, philosophy and society, with the help of a panel of moderators... while you are enjoying a drink!

A first edition on Big Data

First edition: "Big Data, 21st Century Cornucopia?" with Dr Marc Daumas (Science Attaché, Embassy of France in Ireland), Marc Girod (Software Engineer, Salesforce) and Prof. Tahar Kechadi (Computer Sciences, University College Dublin).
