2008 - Nano Exhibition
The Cultural and Scientific Service of the French Embassy in Ireland is glad to present the “Nano Exhibition: How technology is opening a new dimension”
A brave new world is emerging, offering products that are increasingly smaller and lighter. Researchers are reinventing our world atom by atom, preparing a revolution that will drastically modify the worlds of medicine, computing, electronics, and optics as well as the environment.
The Nano Exhibition takes a broad overview over nanotechnologies - the science, the technology, the applications and the safety issues. Through film, text and images the exhibition takes you into a world where size matters and it gives you an idea of how nanotechnology influences everyday life.
Leading French scientists are behind this travelling exhibition, which is in both French and English and open to the general public.
The Nano Exhibition is organised in the framework of Science Week and will run from 10th to 14th November 2008 at the European Union House in Dawson Street, Dublin 2.
