This event was inspired by 2 elements: 2011, the International Year of Chemistry declared by UNESCO, and French gastronomy, an art also celebrated by UNESCO which last year added “the gastronomic meal of the French” to its intangible world heritage list. JPEG
Internationally renowned chemist and cook, Hervé This is a senior researcher at INRA, the French National Institute for Agricultural Research and co-inventor of the molecular gastronomy. The French Embassy in Ireland in association with the Institut Français, the Alliance Française Dublin, the Lycée Français d’Irlande and the French Trade Commission UBIFRANCE gives you this unique opportunity to meet him in Dublin, from 26 to 27 September.


● A seminar at the Dublin Institute of Technology (School of Hospitality Management and Tourism, Cathal Brugha Street) for restaurant chefs and students in the Hospitality & Tourism Industry, will give an overview of the brand new cuisine "Note by Note". This seminar will be introduced by the French Ambassador S.E. Mrs Emmanuelle D’Achon.
