Baccalauréat exams at French High School of Ireland

While Irish students are setting the Leaving Cert, students at the French High School of Ireland - Lycée Français d’Irlande LFI are also taking the Baccalauréat from 7 to 16 June 2017.

This year, 33 students from Terminale (equivalent to Sixth Year) and 34 from Première (Fifth Year) will take the tests! And at the end of June it will be the turn of 22 students of Troisième (Third Year) to take the Brevet, equivalent to the Junior Certificate.

The LFI does not only organise exams for its own pupils, but is also an Examination Center for the rest of the country. Students from all over Ireland can therefore come to pass their Baccalauréat at the French High School of Ireland, as will be the case for 4 of them this year.

A correction of the copies in a record time, thanks to dematerialization !

For two years now, the novelty lies in the paper’s correction dematerialization. Indeed, throughout the network of French establishments abroad, the papers are corrected in digital form.

A small revolution as well as a significant time saving, as the Irish Times already emphasized in this article in 2015.

While Irish pupils are waiting for the results of their leaving certificates for several weeks (August!), the future Irish bacheliers will get their certificates by June 21st, 2017, that is to say, a week after the end of the tests!

To know more about the paper’s correction dematerialization, let’s watch a small report:
