Commemoration of the 1918 Armistice [fr]

An official commemoration ceremony will take place at the France-Ireland Monument and at the British Cross of Sacrifice in Glasnevin Cemetery this Sunday 11 November at 9am.

Organised jointly by the Irish government, Glasnevin Trust and the Embassies of France, Germany, the United Kingdom and the United States, this ceremony will mark the commemoration of the centenary of the 1918 Armistice.

This ceremony which is opened after registration will start at 9am in front of the France-Ireland Monument and of the British Cross of Sacrifice on Sunday 11 November.

For logistics reasons, we ask interested guests to arrive at least half an hour before the ceremony.

The event taking place outside, we invite guests to dress appropriately.
