France’s new prime minister is Bernard Cazeneuve
Born on 2 June 1963, Bernard Cazeneuve graduated from the Institute of Political Studies in Bordeaux. Elected National Assembly Deputy for Manche department in 1997, he joined the cabinet following the Socialist Party’s election victory in 2012, becoming Interior Minister in 2014.
The new interior minister, Bruno Le Roux, was born on 2 May 1965. He was elected National Assembly Deputy for Seine-Saint-Denis in 1997.
