French in Ireland: New opportunies, news horizons

This conference will take place in Dublin Institute of Technology welcoming important actors of the evolution of the French language in Ireland. This conference will deal with: the learning French language, the works and aims of the institutions, the European environment and the professional prospects.

The famous linguist and Professor of the prestigious Collège de France,

Claude Hagège

will be next 25 november at 6.00pm at Dublin Institute of Technology.

The conference, entitled "Vocation européenne du français", will be opened to the public.

During the conference, Claude Hagège will speak about a European future for French, quite a large and interesting subject. He might speak about his last book: Le Français, histoire d’un combat (French, the story of a battle). His vision of the destiny of the French language provides a fascinating opportunity to re-examine France’s political and cultural history.
