Ireland celebrates Good France
On Thursday 19 March, the French Ambassador to Ireland Jean-Pierre Thébault and 9 restaurants in Ireland joined the 1,300 restaurants around the world who celebrated French agstronomy during the Good France/Goût de France event.
Restaurants in Dublin, Kildare, Galway and Killarney treated their guests to a special dinner including various elements typical of French gastronomy and French terroir.
A special dinner was also held at the Residence of France with guests including a number of CEOs and Director Generals from Irish companies.
Good France was the occasion for chefs to showcase their talent to a jury of international chefs led by French Chef Alain Ducasse and to link, gastronomically, French and Irish products.
