Due to the Covid-19 pandemic and according to the instructions of French and Irish authorities, the French Embassy in Ireland will proceed on Monday May 18 to a gradual reopening of its consular services.

How does the visa service work?

The visa service is temporarily closed. In case of emergency and only for family members of EU citizens, please send an email to admin-francais.dublin-amba@diplomatie.gouv.fr

Note : these dates apply to all the departments of the Embassy


For logistics and security reasons, access to the Embassy and to the consulate (66 Fitzwilliam Lane, Dublin 2) is impossible with a backpack, a piece of luggage or any bag of large countenance.

Bags will not be stored at the Embassy.
