The multi-talented French artist Alain Nahum will be in Dublin for two special evenings May 16th/17th
Nahum’s fascination for the notion of trace in the ephemeral nature of life in the city will be shown in his photographic exhibition Traces and Memories displayed at The Alliance Française Dublin. Opening and wine reception on Wednesday May 16th at 6:30pm

On Thursday May 17th at 6:30pm, the film Les gens qui passent (Nahum’s screen adaptation of Patrick Modiano’s Un cirque passe) will be screened at the French Library, followed by an interview / Q&A.

Dr Dervila Cooke of the School of Applied Languages and Intercultural Studies (SALIS) at Dublin City University will launch the exhibition on Wednesday 16 May and conduct the interview on Thursday 17 May.
