Please note that your document has to be valid for a period of 3 month after the intended return and have a least 2 blank pages. From 5 April 2010, only passports that have been issued during the past ten years can be endorsed with a visa. If your passport was issued longer than 10 years ago, please apply for a new passport at your embassy. As for all below listed documents you should provide the Embassy with a copy of your passport that includes all the inside pages apart from the blank ones.

A verbal note: The verbal note has to specify the position of the visa applicant, the purpose and dates of the planned trip, the address of the stay in France and that the person will be covered by a travel insurance.
