Tribes Youth Arts Festival: Free Film Screening + Q&A: ‘We did it on a song (Chante ton bac d’abord)’
The French Embassy in Ireland in association with TRIBES Youth Arts Festival are proud to present a screening of ‘We did it on a song (Chante ton bac d’abord)’ by French director David André followed by a Q&A with Gaëlle Bridoux, narrator and star of the film, by William Fitzgerald, Galway Film Fleadh Programme Director.
This hybrid French docudrama-musical comedy is about 5 students in their final year of secondary school who are faced with two major challenges: applying to college and passing the baccalaureat exam, the French leaving cert equivalent. Presented in Galway on Saturday 20th November.. -
IFI French Film Festival 2021
We are proud to support the 22nd IFI French Film Festival running form 17th November to 28th 2021. Both in-cinema and online, this festival represents Ireland’s largest French cinema event with 28 films screenings, including many Irish premieres, a special tribute to Jean-Paul Belmondo and a retrospective on actress Danielle Darrieux.
French Director Antoine Barraud will be in attendance to present his latest film Madeleine Collins on 21st November. -
