  • De Gaulle Exhibition on display in Co. Kerry

    ADMISSION FREE. The exhibition presents a series of photographs from the Kennelly Archive of Charles De Gaulle’s visit to Ireland after he left power in May 1969. "De Gaulle: A Quiet Holiday" is presented by the French Embassy in Ireland in association with Kerry Geopark. The original exhibition was conceived by Isabelle Galy-Aché and produced by the Irish Cultural Centre in Paris with the support of the Fondation Charles de Gaulle, the Ireland Fund of France and the Kennelly Archive.

    This exhibition presents images from the Kennelly Archive of the events of May 1969.

  • Join us for a season of French Opera in the Open

    Dublin City Council in partnership with the French Embassy in Ireland is pleased to present a season of French Opera in the Open. To celebrate the relocation of the French Embassy to Merrion Square and its engagement to contribute to the cultural liveliness of the neighbourhood, a special one-off performance of Orphée et Euridice by Christoph Willibald Gluck will be performed in Merrion Square Park at 1pm on Thursday 30th July 2015.
