Les Cellules Déambulent
Les Cellules Déambulent (‘Cells Wander’) is a scientific demonstration in the format of a lively and fun performance that aims to introduce and educate the public about cells and their amazing capacity to take on a diverse range of roles in the human body. Open to both adults and children alike, this wonderful event also increases understanding and awareness of rare diseases.
The show is performed by a group of volunteers made up of researchers, engineers, technicians and administrative staff from various research laboratories in Lyon.
At the end of the performance, the "Cell Explorers" will run their Fantastic DNA workshop, during which participants experiment with cells and prepare DNA out of banana cells.
An event organised as part of French Festival at Science Week, by the Embassy of France in Ireland, the Alliance Française Dublin in partnership with Les Cellules Déambulent, NUI Galway and Cell Explorers.
