Francophonie evening 2018! [fr]

Last Thursday was our international screening and buffet!

Over 10 embassies, members of La Francophonie in Ireland, were present at the Light House Cinema, Smithfield, last Thursday for an international evening!

At 6pm there was the screening of Moroccon film Adieu Mères, introduced by H.E. the ambassador of Morocco to Ireland.

Afterwards, an international buffet with food and drinks from all over the world! Swiss chocolate, French baguettes, Mexican margaritas…there was something for everyone!

The evening continued at The Cobblestone with a performance by franco-irish-romanian trio La Bonne Heure who played some songs in to a friendly and international crowd!

A big thank you to the embassies of Argentina, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Egypt, France, Georgia, Hungary, Lithuania, Mexico, Morocco , Romania, Switzerland, to the Alliance française Dublin and the Light House Cinema. See you next year!
