Sad passing of Paul DE VOS [fr]
It was with great sadness that we learned of the death of Paul DE VOS, Head of the Economic Service of the French Embassy in Ireland, on Saturday 20 November 2021.
Paul DE VOS held many positions in the French Treasury from 1988, both at headquarters in Paris and in French regions, as well as abroad.
Working with Paul was a great pleasure and a privilege for his team and for all his colleagues at the French Embassy in Ireland over the past two years. His intelligence, his sense of humour, his kindness and his understanding of other people will be missed by all in Dublin.
A week after his death, we are still very upset and emotional over having lost a good friend. Our thoughts are with his family and loved ones, and with all those who had the opportunity to work with Paul.
His remains are now resting at a Dublin funeral home and his burial is expected to take place in his home town, Moulins in the Allier, region of France.
