The Lycée Français International Samuel Beckett [fr]

The LFI (Lycée Français International Samuel Beckett) is a co-educational school of international academic excellence.

The LFI provides students with a French-language education from early childhood (age 3) to the final year of secondary school, while enabling them to :

  • to prepare for both the Junior Certificate and the diplôme national du Brevet (DNB- French equivalent to teh Junior Cert.)
  • join the Irish system after obtaining the Junior Certificate/ DNB on the same campus, thanks to an agreement with our partner St Kilian’s Irish- German school.

In addition, for primary schools, it offers:

  • Bilingual teaching in French and English.
  • Introduction to Irish.
  • Petite Section classes from age 3.
  • Multicultural and secular environment.
  • Mixed classes.
  • On-site after-school care and extra-curricular activities until 6 p.m. every day.

For Secondary School, it offers :

  • A unique dual program in Ireland: in junior cycle, 50% of courses are shared with our partner Saint Kilian’s on the Eurocampus.
  • 2 diplomas for all at the end of collège: Diplôme National du Brevet and Junior Certificate.
  • A multicultural, secular and co-educational environment.
  • Saint Kilian offers several places each year for students who want to join the Irish system for senior cycle and take the Leaving Certificate (provided they choose German during junior cycle).
  • For students who remain at LFI in the French system, 3 possible choices: French BAC General, European or International (BFI).

The Eurocampus

Eurocampus Clonskeagh (Co. Dublin) is home to LFI, the Lycée Français International Samuel Beckett, and Saint Kilian’s Deutsch Schule.

The Dublin Eurocampus is the most integrated and advanced of the 8 Eurocampuses in the world, offering unique exposure to 3 cultures: French, German and Irish (Junior Cert and Leaving Cert preparation).
