Ukraine - Fight against impunity

International Criminal Court investigation into crimes committed in Ukraine (23 Mar. 2022)
On 2 March 2022 the International Criminal Court (ICC) Prosecutor opened an investigation into crimes committed in Ukraine. The decision was taken after 41 States, including the 27 European Union Member States, asked for the opening of the investigation by the Court’s Prosecutor to be speeded up.
On this basis, the Prosecutor asked the States to lend him financial and human assistance to ensure the proper conduct of the investigation.

Conference on Linguistic Diversity and the French language in the European Union
The Ministerial Conference on Linguistic Diversity in the European Union, held in Pau on 15 March 2022 under the French Presidency of the Council of the European Union, will provide the opportunity for European partners to examine and discuss the issues of multilingualism and plurilingualism in Europe. The central issue of the construction of European citizenship will be addressed via these themes.

Conference of Tourism Ministers
The Conference of Tourism Ministers will be held in Dijon on 17-18 March 2022. It will be chaired by Jean-Baptiste Lemoyne, Minister Delegate for Tourism, alongside Thierry Breton, European Commissioner for the Internal Market. Together, we share common initiatives, with the aim of achieving recovery in the sector, increasing tourism of Europeans in Europe and transitioning to a more sustainable model.
